Susie Marbury, the founder and owner of Checks & Balances for You, has had a varied career. In addition to working for over 30 years as a computer professional, she has also owned her own businesses and kept the books for her companies, as well as for others. For the last seven years of her previous career she worked for the State of New Mexico, initiating policies and administering programs that saved tax payers money on utility bills and provided more healthy and comfortable buildings. She was responsible for managing and reporting on a $32 million federal grant the state received to improve public buildings. During that time Susie received appreciations from the New Mexico Manufactured Housing Association and the New Mexico Home Builders Association for her collaborative spirit.
