Julie Ragland, MBA, spent a corporate career as a technology specialist, a human resource expert and an office administration efficiency specialist. On the home front, she managed the financial side of her husband’s business, while raising two children and working two part-time jobs. She quickly learned that the financial side of her life needed to be streamlined if she was going to have any time to enjoy her family. So, she successfully implemented both high-tech and low-tech solutions to her financial life. I started Redding Group in 2006 after 10 years of working in the consulting industry with Andersen Consulting (now called Accenture). I graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a BS in Chemical Engineering and have seemingly strayed from my formal education path. However, when I left Accenture to find a career that provided better family balance and more personal satisfaction, Redding Group was a great way to utilize my problem solving, analytical skills developed through formal schooling and my service-oriented client delivery approach developed through my consulting career. After 12 years in business, we have over 80 clients who are small businesses, non-profits and family offices.
