Kay H. Bransford is the best-selling author of MemoryBanc: Your Workbook for Organizing Life. She has appeared on The Dr. Oz Show, The Huffington Post, and BBC, in addition to many television and radio programs, to educate families, caregivers, and retirees on why getting organized is important to the well-being of every adult. The company Kay founded, MemoryBanc, received an “Older-Adult Focused Innovation” award from AARP Foundation, her Dealing with Dementia blog was recognized “Top Alzheimer’s Blog” by Healthline for both 2016 and 2017, and her workbook was named a “Book of the Year” by Today’s Caregiver magazine.
After caring for her parents for five years, Kay transitioned from a business development career to serve as a Daily Money Manager. She has taught over 100 classes and workshops on life preparedness to help other families get organized and live well.
Laura Butler began her career in the banking industry working as a Teller. While working at the bank, Laura simultaneously studied Finance at George Mason University where she graduated with a BS in 1989. Upon graduation, she was promoted to Assistant Manager and continued with the bank until 1990. One year later, Laura returned to GMU and completed all courses required to pursue a career in the Accounting field. She subsequently was employed by the General Services Administration as an Auditor until 1996. At GSA she worked with an auditor team conducting both internal and contract audits to determine compliance with the Federal Regulations. From 1996 until 2001, Laura stayed home to raise a family but remained quite busy. During this time, worked part time for General Business Services preparing tax returns for individuals. She volunteered on the PTA acting in the capacity of Treasurer, and the after school Hands on Science Program. …
Lauren joined Help Unlimited in 2014 after working for a non-profit which provided grants to over 50 charities. Prior to taking time off to be a full time mother to 3 children, Lauren was the Sr. Product Manager and Asst. Vice President of the largest bank in Arizona (at the time), where she was in charge of marketing for over 500,000 checking accounts and development of special programs targeted to senior citizens. She is a 1981 graduate of State University of NY at Albany. Lauren also volunteered at a local nursing home for 2 years.
