Leadership – Meet the Board
The AADMM leadership is a team of dedicated professionals each directly involved in the growth, services, education and adherence to the ethical standards for DMMs, their clients and the profession.
Lewis Knopf created LK Daily Money Management following a successful career in business and technology. He is a skilled manager, financial systems specialist, problem solver and negotiator. But most important, he believes, are his people skills: Lewis knows how to find common ground between conflicting viewpoints and how to help people manage change in their lives and environments.
Alison Salisbury, Founder of Fiscally Fit, Inc., in Los Altos, CA provides Daily Money Management services for seniors, busy individuals and high net worth families. She and her team specialize in family finances and administration, household payroll, organizing tax paperwork, as well as setting up accounts and filing systems. Alison joined AADMM in 2008, earned her certification as a PDMM in 2011, and currently serves on the Executive Committee on the AADMM Board of Directors.
Robyn Young joined AADMM in 2005, the same year she founded her daily money management business, Money Care, LLC. She received certification as a Professional Daily Money Manager in 2009, and has served on several AADMM committees. Robyn is a solo-practitioner with a client base comprised both of seniors and busy professionals.
Sheri L. Samotin, PDMM, CLPF is the founder of LifeBridge Solutions, LLC. She is a certified professional daily money manager and a California licensed professional fiduciary. Sheri is the author of Facing the Finish: A Road Map for Aging Parents and Adult Children and serves on the Board of AADMM as well as on the Board of OPICA, a Los Angeles-based adult day program and counseling center. Sheri is a frequent speaker to national audiences on topics related to her areas of expertise.

Leah Nichaman has been a DMM for 10 years, having established her company, Everyday Money Management, in 2006. She and her team serve seniors and people with disabilities in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Ms. Nichaman’s background is in management consulting, non-profit management, and health survey research. Ms. Nichaman is a graduate of Brown University and is a member of the Advisory Committees of the Representative Payee and Money Monitors programs in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Barbara Boustead, LCSW, started Mary’s Daughter LLC in 2011 providing Daily Money Management services to seniors and veterans. She is a Dementia Friendly trainer and a member of the Dane County Committee on Aging, the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Alliance, Dane Buy Local, NASW-WI, and the Financial Abuse Specialist Team (FAST) for Dane County, WI. Barbara joined AADMM in 2012 and has been active on several committees including the AADMM Conference Planning committee, Public Relations committee, and is the coordinator for the Southern Wisconsin AADMM regional group.
Alisa Carini has been a CPA since 1997 and a DMM for over four years. Her San Diego client base includes high net worth individuals, trustees and small businesses. After graduating from San Diego State University, Alisa spent over twenty years in the individual income tax arena before becoming a DMM. She also spent time teaching federal individual income tax with UCSD. In addition to being an AADMM member, Alisa is also a member of the AICPA and CALCPA.
Clare is a Financial Literacy Instructor, Social Scientist and Money Behaviorist conducting independent research in small business, entrepreneurship, behavioral psychology, and social sciences. Her research focuses on attitudes toward money and practices around money decisions and money behaviors through Financial Therapy.
Board Member, Public Awareness Program Area Leader
Caitlin Hall, MBA, PDMM founded her Daily Money Management company, Organize My Life, Inc. in 2004. She earned her Professional Daily Money Manager certification in 2009. Caitlin has worked on various committees within AADMM, including founding the Florida regional group, and joined the board in 2014. She primarily works with high net worth individuals, families and busy professionals. She comes from a finance background having previously worked as a financial advisor where she held Series 7, life insurance and long term care insurance licenses.
Amie Hyman is the president and owner of Heartfelt Solutions for Seniors, Inc., which provides geriatric care management, assistance with daily household finances and fiduciary services to seniors in the Chicagoland area. Amie received her Master’s degree in social work from the University of Chicago and worked with human service agencies for more than 25 years in administrative, business, fiscal management and direct service capacities for both children and adults. She is also the coordinator of the Illinois regional AADMM group.
Lynn Plait is the founder of Financial Order, LLC. After a career in social work and banking, Lynn found her true passion. An active member of AADMM, she helped start the Atlanta Chapter of AADMM and served on their inaugural board. In 2013, Lynn became a PDMM. She served on the AADMM Conference Committee and went on to become chair of the 2016 conference in Tampa. A former longtime resident of Georgia and graduate from the University of Florida, she holds a degree in sociology and a master’s degree in social work. Now residing in Tempe, AZ, Lynn works “virtually” with her high net worth clients in Georgia and South Carolina. She recently established and coordinates the new AADMM regional group in Arizona.
Gideon Y. Schein
Gideon Y. Schein has worked as a financial organizer and Daily Money Manager for seniors since 1998. Fifteen years, together with Rebecca Eddy, he founded Eddy & Schein In-Home Administrator for Seniors, dedicated to the management and coordination of the personal, financial, legal and health Insurance affairs of Seniors. Gideon has extensive experience and expertise on issues relating to Medicare and secondary insurance for seniors, Financial Abuse and Fraud, Daily Management and he has given numerous lectures and seminars at the national and local levels.
Marcia L. Turner, PDMM, CSA serves and supports the Senior market while also offering daily money management services to busy professionals, non-profits and small businesses. She provides Bookkeeping and Quickbooks Consulting Services upon request as well. She is located in Guilford Connecticut and serves clients along the Connecticut Shoreline, from New Haven to Old Saybrook.
