General Session: Introduction to the Business Accelerator: Successful Networking to Get More Clients (NO CEU)

Learn how to use networking to build a successful DMM business. We will cover how to define your message, build credibility, determine which networking events to attend, and perform effective follow-up. We will also discuss ideas and tools for tracking your networking efforts to identify which activities give you the most and best potential clients.

This session will equip Daily Money Managers — including those without a tax background — with practical strategies to navigate client planning opportunities created by the landmark “One Big Beautiful Bill.” Participants will learn the key provisions most likely to affect their clients, including changes to tax rates, deductions, and documentation requirements. The presentation will highlight ways DMMs can clearly explain new rules in plain language, guide client decision‑making, and coordinate with other financial professionals. Attendees will also review workflow updates and recordkeeping best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency without stepping into the role of a tax preparer. By the end of the hour, DMMs will leave with actionable steps to better support their clients in the post‑legislation landscape.

Concurrent Session 2: The Digital Afterlife: What Every DMM Needs to Know to Protect Their Clients’ Digital Assets 

Daily Money Managers (DMMs) are uniquely positioned to educate and support clients in the new area of digital legacy planning. The term “digital assets” refers to any electronic record in which an individual has rights or interests, including email, social media, and cryptocurrency. This session will educate AADMM members on how the law treats digital assets and provide tips to help DMMs guide their clients in organizing and safeguarding their digital legacy.

Women face unique challenges with money, and Daily Money Managers who work with women clients can benefit from understanding the typical money issues women face in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond. This session will discuss practical tips for women to build money confidence, make informed financial decisions, and collaborate with allied professionals (tax, investment, estate planning, and wellness experts) to achieve optimal results.
