Edward W. Jackson Jr. is the Owner of Phoenix Consulting, LLC, a daily money management consulting company.
Edward has over 25 years of financial management experience, which includes work with local governments and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He has worked for several years as a consultant and now owns his own consulting company primarily working with seniors, young and busy professionals and others needing assistance with Daily Money Management.
Edward is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and has an MBA from Strayer University. Edward is an Eagle Scout, an Army veteran and a former college athlete. Edward likes gardening, spending time with his family and playing golf.
J.J. is a conscientious and detail-oriented bookkeeper/daily money manager. She has successfully organized and maintained bookkeeping systems for families and small businesses since 1994. As the business grew, J.J. experienced a serious illness and during that time she developed a system for submitting and tracking health insurance claims for herself. Subsequently, she began to offer this service to her clients. She comes to this task with compassion and understanding for their needs. With the illness behind her, she is excited and focused on growing her business. She creates a non-judgmental space where her clients can feel at ease. She works with Quicken and is also a Quickbooks Online Certified Pro-Advisor. She currently serves on the board of National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) – Washington, DC chapter. Living in the DC area for two decades, J.J. is actively involved in the improv community, where she performs, teaches and leads improv jams.
I have extensive professional and personal experience in financial management services – from managing pension, investment and benefits plans and serving on industry fraud committees — to providing day to day money management and executor services for my late parents. A passionate supporter of empowering seniors to age in place, I love managing the financial complexities unique to my clients so they can focus on living independently with joy and peace of mind.
I seek to provide professional fiduciary services for clients (e.g. Trustee, Personal Representative, Power of Attorney, etc.). Each client will receive individual personalized attention to make sure their affairs are handled with honesty and integrity.
